Here are all the available river rafting routes in Rishikesh. Each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. You can check them all and choose the one that suits you best.
9KM Baby Section
This section starts in Bhrampuri and ends at NIM Beach or Ram Jhula. This is the shortest ride, with two rapids, a long swimming section, and Maggie Point. This section is recommended for those who just want to experience river rafting with the least amount of thrill and the most amount of safety.
This route is recommended for the following people:
Child with 12+
Max age with 65
Have 30–60 minutes.
12KM Beigner Section
This is the section with a good amount of adventure and thrill. There are 2 routes for 12 km: 1. Clubhouse to NIM Beach, Rishikesh (total rapids: 4). 2. MD to Shivpuri (total rapids: 6). Both routes have Grade II rapids and long swimming sections.
This route is family-friendly and bigger-friendly, so if you want a medium thrill, this is recommended for you. This ride takes 1–1:30 hours to complete.
16-KM Adventure Section
This is the most popular section of River Rafting Rishikesh. having a total of 8 rapids, a long swimming section, and a Maggi point in it. The golf course, Rollar Coster, and club house are the highlights of this route.
If you want a maximum thrill in 2–2:30 hours by hitting Grade III Rapid, this route is perfect for you. recommended for young adventure enthusiasts.
26KM Long river time with adventure
This route is like 16 km with an extra 6 rapids and a total of 2:30–3 hours of river time. The rote has a total of 12 rapids (with 2 body surfing rapids), 2 long swimming sections, and a maggi point.
By choosing this route, you will get a long river ride, extra thrills, and a fully adventurous ride.
36KM Most Adventurous
This is called a full-day rafting trip because it takes almost 5-7 hours to complete from office to office. Anyone between 18 and 50 can go on this trip, but they must have the energy to peddle. As it is a full day of rafting, rafting operators also provide you with a packed lunch or snacks.
This route includes a total of 20+ rapids, 5+ long swimming sections, and a maggie point. The main highlight of this trip is the Great Wall Rapid, which is a Class IV rapid. This is the strongest and most rapid gang, with 10+ accidents.
In high volume (September–mid-November and April–June), these risks got dangerous, and most rafting operators did not provide this route for safety reasons. A safe kayaker is a must for this route.
This route is recommended for young adventure enthusiasts (18–50 years old) in the November–March months.
